Therapy Through Strength & Renewal With Christopher (Chris) Figueroa

The Quiet Strength Within

The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of others, but those who battle unseen demons in silence. Therapy through strength and renewal provides the support needed to face those challenges, rebuild resilience, and move forward with confidence.

Life doesn’t come with a guidebook, and figuring things out on your own can feel overwhelming. You’ve already taken the first step just by being here. That means you’re ready for change. The hardest part is deciding to start, and you’ve done that. You are here now, and that’s what matters.

Therapy with me is about making real progress in a way that feels manageable, impactful, and empowering. I work alongside you to navigate the weight of past experiences, anxiety, or uncertainty. Whether you’re facing PTSD, depression, OCPD, or generalized anxiety, we’ll work together to break through what’s holding you back. Therapy is a space to regain clarity, build resilience, and reclaim your sense of purpose.

My Approach to Therapy

I bring lived experience, deep understanding, and a no-nonsense yet compassionate approach to therapy. I know firsthand the complexities of balancing life, relationships, and personal well-being.

My approach is active, engaging, and goal-oriented. I believe in getting to the root of challenges and helping clients develop real, actionable strategies to move forward. Therapy through strength and renewal isn’t about staying stuck in the past—it’s about using insight, resilience, and skills to create the future you want.

I integrate a range of approaches tailored to your needs, including:

🧠 EMDR Therapy – Processing past trauma to reduce its impact on the present.
💡 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Identifying patterns that keep you stuck and reshaping them.
🌿 Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Learning to live with purpose, even when challenges arise.
🎯 Solution-Focused Therapy – Focusing on strengths and creating actionable steps forward.
🛠 Somatic Work – Connecting the mind and body to regulate emotions and reduce stress.

Together, we’ll create a therapy experience that feels practical, meaningful, and tailored to you.

Who I Work Best With

I typically work with adults (18+) who are ready to do the work and committed to their growth. My clients often come to me for support with:

🔥 PTSD & Trauma Recovery – Processing difficult experiences and moving forward.
🌊 Anxiety & Depression – Learning how to manage overwhelming emotions with practical tools.
🔄 OCPD & Perfectionism – Breaking free from rigid thinking and self-imposed pressure.
💼 Life Transitions & Career Challenges – Finding clarity in professional and personal growth.

If you’re ready to take an honest look at your challenges and work toward real solutions, we’ll be a great fit. Therapy with me is about progress, not perfection—but you don’t have to do it alone.

What to Expect in Therapy With Me

Therapy should feel engaging, impactful, and real. Sessions with me are active, insightful, and solution-focused—this is not just about venting; it’s about learning how to create meaningful change in your life.

💬 A Collaborative Process – Therapy is a two-way street; I’ll challenge and support you along the way.
🔥 Straightforward & Goal-Oriented Work – I don’t believe in wasting time—we’ll focus on what actually works for you.
⚡ Strengths-Based & Practical – We’ll uncover your inner resilience and use it to fuel your growth.

If you’re willing to show up, do the work, and commit to yourself, I’m here to help you build a stronger, more fulfilled life.

A Little About Me

I believe in the power of resilience and the ability to rewrite your story. As an Army veteran, husband, and father, I’ve faced challenges that have shaped my approach to life and therapy. My goal is to help clients find their inner strength, step into their potential, and move forward with clarity and purpose.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy:
☀️ Spending time with my family – My role as a husband and father keeps me grounded.
💪 Staying active – I believe in taking care of both mind and body.
🎶 Listening to music – It’s one of my go-to ways to unwind.

Life is full of obstacles, but you don’t have to face them alone.
